Feels Like Fall

The seasons they are a changin' and so are the leaves!!!

We both LOVE the fall and hence why we wanted to get married then. Yup - that also means we have an anniversary coming up soon!

This weekend, we took the opportunity to prepare our lovely abode for the fall festivities.

Even though Jonathan had to work on Saturday, we got a lot accomplished since there weren't any football games to watch. Well... there was suppose to be one, but about 10 minutes into it I decided it would be more fun to do laundry and sweep the garage then to watch the devastation.

It also gave me time to make some pictures I could share! (This is me looking on the bright side) :)






This next picture has been the center of some controversy on our street since it was put up. I thought it was a cute house flag - something that we could FINALLY hang on the pole that's been mounted outside for almost a year now with nothing on it. My neighbor on the other hand, said he found it offensive and would be reporting me to the HOA.

I promise it was not meant to do harm and I have nothing against scarecrows... even if it does look like I've lynched one outside my house.

Hunter Time

Its been a while since I our last post but we've been busy little bees... mainly making time to spend with my FAVORITE lil' guy, Hunter Lynn!!

I picked Lacey & Hunter up at the airport last week after his first plane ride and went to Centennial Park for a while. We had lunch with Mauri and dinner with Jonathan before we all crashed pretty early that night. Hunter loved rearranging the rocks in my backyard! I now have them EVERYWHERE but he had a good time and that's all that matters.

Saving Second Base Fundraiser

Last week we had a fund raiser at the hotel for our Race for the Cure team. It really was a lot of fun and helped raise a little money in the process.

A trade out with Longhorn Steakhouse set me up with over $200 worth of food! Each employee made a $5 donation to eat and we had a few door prizes we raffled off with tickets at $1 each.

Everyone dressed in pink for the occasion and I even made a pink ribbon cake! I know your impressed - I sure was! I took tons of pictures but I have no idea what happened to them :( I have three full days that where deleted from my card somehow. Sad day.

On a brighter note, we raised $206 for the walk team!! Thanks Hampton & Baymont!!
