Our Travels

After two weekends on the road, we are back in Murfreesboro and hoping for a restful weekend. Our first weekend was an unexpected road trip to South Carolina. Although the reasons for our visit was a sad one, the chance to spend time with our family there is always a treat!

Our second weekend trip was to another part of the family we don't know so well. If you don't know my Papaw Tommy, think about my wedding and the photos of the toilet seats... you'll understand why I was looking forward and a little scared of what I was walking in to!

We stopped in Louisville, KY for the first night. Our hotel was in walking distance to 4th Street Live which was our favorite part. The weather was great and so was the music! Definitely something we'll have to go back to.

Back to the reunion: Jonathan's family isn't the only side with large numbers - Papaw is one of 8 Jameson kids still kickin'! Most of the family is in Kokomo, IN which is where we went for the reunion.

Kokomo is the home to the Worlds Largest Bull and Cone Palace!

All-in-all, we had a good time - met a LOT of folks we didn't know before and had some good food. Its been 20 years since my last visit to Kokomo and I'm hoping it won't take me that long to get back!
